The Middle East is a region where cars and truck is king and fuel is cheap, typically leaving little reward to find more environmentally-friendly methods of walking around.
But this year, as protests across the Middle East have risen the rate of oil, the concern of finding alternative sources of fuel has entered sharp focus.
In a region that has among the greatest carbon footprints worldwide, one company is taking of the growing pressure to discover alternatives to oil. It's set up the Middle East's first scheme to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's proving lucrative too, currently their client-list includes McDonald's.
